ABOUT
Learn more about me
I have a passion for my work. My journey began volunteering as a listener at the Samaritans, which led to a desire to study counselling. I obtained my degree in Humanistic Counselling in 2014. My career began as Lead Counsellor in a NHS setting working with patients and staff and I established my private practice in 2015. 10 years later I have a thriving practice and have trained as a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Coach, I offer my services to schools in the area two days a week working with Senior school pupils.
I have undertaken volunteer work, counselling family members of incarcerated individuals, alongside group sessions for the same organisation. I have run group sessions for individuals with terminal cancer utilising art therapeutically and have run anxiety workshops for year 7 and year 11 students. I provide continuous support to a charity dedicated to supporting families who have experienced the loss of a child. I have an enhanced DBS.
I am also a Senior Associate Trainer for Dandelion Training and Development delivering Level 3 Emotional Literacy qualification and Level 4 and 5 qualifications in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Parent Coaching.
In my spare time I love spending time with my two golden retrievers and enjoy walks at the beach and in nature.
